It has been a hectic past week … As most know Lind's Sooz teenage daughter lost her dad Edwin Platt known as “Skip” to Family and Friends, Drowned the 13th of March off the shore of Santa Barbara, a tragedy for all who knew him.

So in the past week Sooz & Lind's attended the Funeral Friday the 11th and then the Heart Felt Memorial Service on the 12th at Shoreline Park in Santa Barbara. Thanks to Mary Ann Owner of the Fishing Vessel ”Delilah“, who furnished the Shoreline Park reservation we believe all had a memorable time.

All of us here at JerSooz, including Skip's Mom Betty and 2 Sisters Nancy and Susan, plus Sooz BFF Mashel her Husband Jeffrey and the Foreign Exchange Student they are hosting from Germany, embraced the opportunity to mingle and share stories of Skip's life.

There was quite a turn out at his Memorial one which Lind's surely can be proud! Lind's thanks for Your Support and Best Wishes also to the Hash House Harriers of Santa Barbara for the Memorial Page for “Skip” also known as “Scatman”.

If anyone has a Santa Barbara TV News Clip URL of the Memorial of Edwin Platt on Saturday, April 12th 2008 for us we would much appreciate seeing it. We got several tips from friends that "The Memorial Was All Over The News", but hard as we tried, we could not find a single video clip of it online.

Also may Lind's find the path to know She now lives in Memory of her Dad, may she do the Positve in Life and things he is now not able to do … As We have said it is “Now We Live for the Living” but We do not forget those who passed … May Lind's Live to make Her Dad Proud of her!
