Oh we know there is so much to do right now...and so little time it is unbelievable. We hope you have the time to get everything done that needs to be or you want done.
It is the busiest time of the year, and there are lots of things to do to make your Holiday the best it can be. But there is one thing we at JerSooz want to remind you to not forget:
Set aside some time to do those Special Things
That mean so much for other people
Especially the ones around you
This includes your pets!
It can make all the difference to those you love
This Holiday make that difference
It's the Season for Giving!...Give from Your Heart
Those special things you do mean a lot! Just like in the photo above where Charly Polar Bear, at San Diego's Sea World Wild Arctic attraction is treated to a gingerbread man with his name on it.
Oh, by the way Charly and his family also got a few other things for the Holidays this year. Yep! Included with their annual gift boxes they also received a live Christmas tree, a snowman, and stockings made from loaves of bread.
Gearing Up for 2005
This weeks topic is one that is very dear to the JerSooz Ezine Heart...that is to look in a Positive Direction forward...plus get ready for the year 2005.
This time of the Year is always fast paced...exciting...most of all its the time of year...to reflect on the good things in life that happened in the past year.
This time of year is also to reflect and learn... from even the unpleasant experiences this past year may have brought...then put them as they truly are...in the past and move forward.
With only 2 weeks left in 2004...We now move onto 2005 and lets just say from JerSooz Ezine...2005 we will be implementing Fantastic and Exciting New things to better Help You Succeed in Life...or simply put...Give You the Tools You need to Succeed...be it either in Your Personal Life or Business.
We truly want to be like a Rolodex of information...Not only You will use...but will want to share with others.
The thing is as of late if have been reading the JerSooz Ezine for any length of time it has begun to slow down in Loading time...the reason is...We have if have not noticed been Adding things to Help You and Others.
Hopefully with these Additions...Especially our added Picture Logo Banners...with Fast Descriptions...You can get to Your Favorite areas faster...though we would like you to read all the topics...we know time constraints sometimes make this an impossible task.
Lets just say between both Jer and Sooz...We both Read what is equivalent to a major classical novel a week just to satisfy our hunger for information. Our emails alone as they used to say reading-wise...would choke a horse, so some of the time we miss certain details.
The reason we state this is sometimes even in Our Own Personal lives we don't have time to check things out. One example we use is Our Local area AMA Sponsored Toy Run...this Year we assumed as in Years past that it would be the 2nd Sunday of December as always was...No!No!No!...it was this Year held Thanksgiving Weekend...when we were in the Seattle area.
Talking Changing Directions
What did we do with all those new toys? We looked up on the Internet Drop off locations for the Toys for Tots in Sacramento...then dropped them off at the Sacramento Zoo...Yes now we once again Helped reach out to Kids in need...Plus was fun also because...The Zoo to get Donations were offering Free Passes for Kids who donated a Gift. We got the 3 Passes to enter the Zoo we didn't even ask for. As we walked to the car we saw a Family with 3 Boys coming into the Zoo. Perfect! 3 tickets, 3 kids 3 takers of free Zoo passes for the day! It's Fun to watch others faces when a perfect Stranger says...Here are some Free Passes...Have a Fun Day...Yes the Christmas Spirit lives on...and to the Sacramento Zoo thanks.
*Special Note* ...This Years AMA Toys for Tots run had less attendence not because was moved...The reason given was the New 2004 California Anti Gang Legislation Law...could and is viewed as a Mass Bad Law move because now Motorcyclist Groups can also be viewed as in numbers a Gang.
Whereby the Beneficial past Donation runs...such as Poker Runs for Charity...Toys for Tots etc...Now Motorcyclist feel that more then 2 Bikes bunched together...will be having them pulled over for Legal checks...This dear LifeTime Friends is a Major Loss to a lot of Charities.
The Sacramento Toys for Tots run began as an effort to show the Well being of Motorcyclist's...and to overcome the Stereotype...All Bikers are Evil...now even the Well intended Non Biker Types...who others lovingly refer to as the Yuppie Harley Riders...Those Fanatical Rice Burner Riders...even BMW and Gold Wing Crowds can be deemed the wrong element...is definitely a wrong Law and a sad day for the 2 wheel...Air in Your face...Live to Ride...Ride to Live Motorcycle People...Check out last Years 2003 Toys for Tots run...then maybe will see what a loss this Law may cause...the Pic's will show how much these People care.

Tips on How To Avoid Seasonal Stress
We all love the holidays with all the excitement in the air, the hustle and bustle everywhere we go,
the fresh smell of evergreen, hot apple cider and the promises of a delicious Holiday Feast.
For most of us the holidays often start out this way. You feel peace on earth and goodwill
towards all. It isnt long before your to-do list becomes seemingly endless.
You begin to witness
first hand your budget shrinking more each day, and time is running out. By the time the actual
holiday gets here, a lot of us are fresh out of goodwill and cheer.
It can be tough to hold on to your merry mood when stress creeps its way into the activities. Now
that we're getting close to Christmas why not vow this year, to beat the stress before it beats
you. If you are in the midst of it already and theres not much you can do...plan to make some changes for next year.
Keep in mind, Holidays Mean a lot More If You Spend More Time With Family & Friends
Make this year your year to focus on "quality time". The holiday will be more memorable if you
spend more quality time with your family, friends, neighbors, and those special coworkers. Even
if you just take a few here and there to tell someone how important they are to you, it can mean
so much more than giving a gift.
How about organizing a casual get together or potluck -everyone can bring their favorite holiday dish and that alone makes it more fun! If the idea of
entertaining stresses you out, how about getting together for lunch or coffee.
Check the TV
schedule and have a movie night in. This is good for family, house members of any age and a
relaxing way to spend time together.
Keep It Simple
Trying to overdo it is probably the number one reason for out-of-control stress. If you're
planning your own get-together, or trying to figure out gifts for extended family, don't feel as if
you have to make it to every single party, or buy for the entire office. If this is You you might be
in danger of over-doing it.
Everything Doesn't Have To Be Perfect!
Is your vision of being a host/hostess with the mostest? You know...everything perfect, on time and color
coordinated? Forget about all of that! Obtaining or trying to obtain perfection could very easily be a recipe for disaster. Instead why not focus on your company and/or friends and family, and leave the glorified-hostess
with-the-mostest idea to the pro's.
If you are going to throw a party, plan ahead. Do your decorations a little at a time and on the
weekend before. If it doesn't all get done don't lose any sleep over it! Only you will know what
you didn't do!
Keep your menu simple so you're not slaving away in the kitchen while your
guests are out enjoying the party.
You can even ask your guests to bring a sidedish, an appetizer, or
a dessert so you can focus on the main menu.
Keep in mind that the best parties happen
when the host/hostess has fun, too.
Watch What You Eat
On the average most Americans gain, 1 to 5 pounds per year. And
it's no surprise considering all the candy cakes, cookies and desserts around Thanksgiving and
Christmas. Should you say No...or? Well, the good news is that its OK splurge on some desserts,
but plan ahead. If you want to eat hearty one special day take it easy before and after that day
so you won't pack in way more than you normally eat in a week or so. By keeping your body from great extremes (expanding your stomache, for one) and more balanced you cut out certain discomfort. This will also keep the stress from feeling guilty at bay. Another benefit is you won't have that so-full-you-can't-move lethargic feeling.
Choose Healthy Holiday Foods
Whatever happened to cold cuts and vegetable trays? How about serving up or bringing a raw vegetable tray and or some healthy appetizers this year. Cheese and crackers or a meat and cheese tray are far better than rich gooey candies before dinner. Fruits and fruit trays not only make a nice arrangement but they are good for your digestion. You can have fruit before and after a meal so have it out before the meal.
Moderation Is The Key
Keep tabs on what you have been eating and drinking. Sure we are all going to eat and maybe even drink a little more this time of year, but if you consiously pay attention to the number of helpings or drinks (2 is enough) you have you will feel better in the long run.
Consider Agreeing to Modifying the Gift Tradition
Are you one of those people who finds yourself opening presents you don't really need or want?
Why not talk to your family/friends about changing or even dropping the tradition altogether. There are alternatives to the traditional gift-giving. You can exchange gifts by picking a name from the guest list. How about just giving the kids gifts? Just think of all the stress you will have avoided!
No more running at the last minute for something that is sold out in every store. No more spending money you really don't want to spend. Did an unexpected guest show up or did you forget someone? Won't have to worry about that anymore!

- Suggesting the gift of spending time together might sound cheap at first but as the years go by time is the one thing we find...that there is just too little of. Why not commit to taking a couple hours to drive
around to see the Christmas lights. Or arrange a shopping trip or even a card game.
Just a few ideas to help you through the Holiday Season. Never know you might want to make a few of these changes this year and a few more of them next year.
The Holidays are supposed to be joyous, not stressed out times that leave you frazzled and depressed. So we at JerSooz believe anything you do to help get the Happy back in Happy Holidays is worth thinking about.
