This week before we begin this JerSooz Ezine...We would like to extend our Sincere Wishes that You and Yours have a Fantastic Thanksgiving...that hopefully you give Thanks for Your Life and the Past Year...Plus of course avoid overstuffing Yourself.
This Year as a Joke one of Jers fellow workers said he was thinking making a bumper sticker that says...Protest Thanksgiving! The Day of Turkey Gluttony...We at JerSooz with Our Age...when hear this are reminded of the Old Alka Seltzer Commercial...'Plop Plop Fizz Fizz...Oh What a Relief It Is'...or how about the 'I Can't Believe...I Ate the Whole Thing'...Hopefully with a lot of Humor will take this Challenge!...You will become if not already a LifeTime Friend and We can Jokingly all be Together again Next Year.
After Thanksgiving (this was published early because we are travelling)...We move onto what Jers Kids say is their Dads Favorite Holiday...Christmas...Why You ask?...Duh its a No Brainer! Jers Birthday is Christmas Eve...so he gets to Gloat about being Special and Gets the One Big Combo Present...Plus when a Kid he got to choose if Santa would be making a Special Early visit on his BDay...but alas if his brother was mean to him it was Oh Brother of Mine...Santa doesn't come till morning...and pssst if haven't noticed it pays to advertise...Jer gets a Lot of Well wishes on his BDay being its a Christmas thing...Now about Birthday Cakes whoops People always forgot that...so can count how many Birthday Cakes on both hands had in Life so there is a shortcoming here too.
The Truth be known Christmas is Special to Jer because he gets to Spoil others or better yet extend a Helping Hand as Hopefully we all do at this time of the Season...Giving from the Heart is always appreciated and doing Special things for Others help them know at least someone out here cares about them...So Give from the Heart this Year even if its a Simple I Love You or even a Hug...A Phone Call or even a Letter Post Card or an Email.
We want to talk a little about a Special Holiday Activity we participate in every year.
With less than 4 weeks to get all the Christmas shopping done there is still time to think of the less fortunate...kids in our world. We are talking the annual Toys For Tots Toy Run
This is a worldwide activity which originated back in 1947 by a Marine Corps Reservist in L. A. California to help needy children through the Christmas Holiday.
The popularity of this event has spread like widlfire, especially among the Motorcycle Riding groups. For various reasons this type of positive exposure appeals to the 2 wheeled groups such as the Modified Motorcycle Association (MMA)and Independent Bikers Groups.

This Topic is very Shocking due to the Fact the response is very Up in Arms as to whether the Shooting incidence was justified or more shocking Others saying...Yes we should shoot Prisoners and then ask Questions later
The Latter is one of the most Gut Wrenching Statements ever heard...Whereby as Jer is both Militarily Trained and also Tactical Trained Shooting never heard the just Shoot and Sort them out later Scenario being Spoken while in Military duty...as is being purported by the News as Our New Army and Marines are being taught as reflected by some Military Personel
The Training has always been secure the Perimeter...insure all Suspects are secured and unarmed do not drop Guard on any Suspects...set up a Diligent watch but never shoot them if they move scenario
The Scenario of this Marine as Viewed is the Marine if anything was in a Highly Charged Situation previously shot in Face days prior to the event a fellow Marine was Killed by Exploding Body Booby Trapped and at Best this Marine possibly should not have been put back into Duty so Quickly and possibly overreacted as does a Combat situation dictates sometimes
The Hopes of JerSooz Ezine is that Our Military is not viewed in a Light that all Prisoners will be shot because this Breeds contempt by the People we are supposedly trying to Protect and give Freedom too...It also instills that Innocent People can be Killed simply by not understanding the Language or Demands and merely Moving our Military will Kill You
This Hopefully is not a Statement that should be spoken...instead the Original Laws of Engagement and the Geneva Convention Rules should always be implimented whether a TV Camera Crew is there or totally unmonitored...Our US Military to Our Knowledge as never prescribed to this and hopefully in future will not...because if does then We as American Citizens could be viewed as War Criminals or better yet as Terrorists...a View JerSooz Ezine and Others hopes will never happen as American Citizens being viewed as either...We want Freedom of Others but not as a Cost to Our Morals and Values
JerSooz Ezine also feels that if there are Rogue Military Troops shooting innocent Civilians...they should be prosecuted as such...Criminals...if proven they shot them to warrant a payback for our Soldiers Killed...and Yes All Wars do have these elements on both sides...So all events must be viewed on a 1 0n 1 case scenario if warranted this not to be taken lightly by either side
