Beware The Scams!
Internet fraud is on the rise. There are more people shopping online every day and along with this more scammers are entering the picture. We suggest educating yourself about what to look for and avoid, and what to do if and when you think you are involved in a scam.
Avoid eBay Scams
There are a slew of inventive ways eBay scammers have devised to get your personal information. One of them is through the email.
As a rule of thumb, if you ever get an email (supposedly) from eBay that asks you to provide any personal information like email password or credit card number it is probably a fake.
eBay advises it never will ask you this information in an email so never provide it in this format, and to never click on any links supplied in this fake e-mail. If the spoof email does not include a virus copy & paste it into a new page and send it on to eBay. You can also email your questions to the following email address.

Free Laptop/Free Anything Scams
When you are offered a free laptop, mp3 player or a free...anything on the Internet you ought to be cautious and suspicious of the party making the offer.
Rarely in life is anything ever given away for free without strings attached. It is sad, but remember that a lot of the time the ones making these claims are not even aware their affiliate ad campaign or project is something of an untruth or unrealistic offer.
The free laptops bait is a pretty common Internet scam offer. Every so often, but rarely, the free laptop offer is indeed a bona fide and reputable company offering free laptops in exchange for marketing research information. But, more often than not, to be on the safe side expect that an offer of a free laptop is likely to be part of some sort of scam.
One of the most recent laptop scams offers up a free laptop...no strings attached. The so-called company sends a free laptop which needs repairs. There are special stipulations for repairs in the package when you get it that say you can send it back to them if it needs to be fixed. The initial cost of the repair is $30.00, so You pay the $30.00 and guess what- never see the laptop...or your money again.
The True Slap in the Face
This Scam also if remember includes the initial cost of Laptop also...so can be a very big money loss...it also gives thieves a chance to clear all money from Credit card where Your lulled into thinking got a Good deal...Gee though have to pay for Service Agreement activation it includes Service too
Bad part now is not only lost Your money...the thieves gotten your credit card numbers also...when you purchased it plus the additional repair money also...when returned the laptop!...Then to add insult to injury they repackage the Laptop and send off to another unsuspecting soul
Scammers are Sophisticated
Remember that as time goes by scammers become increasingly sophisticated. They know that most people won't just hand over their personal information, so they find new, inventive ways to get you to trust them...and hand over your personal information.
A Scam Artist is skilled in deception...deceiving you...the person who they want to steal from. So, protect yourself- beware of the people asking for your personal information and beware of people making an offer you can not refuse.

- Never Give Social Security Number or Bank Pin Number

The Latter is one of the most Gut Wrenching Statements ever heard...Whereby as Jer is both Militarily Trained and also Tactical Trained Shooting never heard the just Shoot and Sort them out later Scenario being Spoken while in Military duty...as is being purported by the News as Our New Army and Marines are being taught as reflected by some Military Personel
The Training has always been secure the Perimeter...insure all Suspects are secured and unarmed do not drop Guard on any Suspects...set up a Diligent watch but never shoot them if they move scenario
The Scenario of this Marine as Viewed is the Marine if anything was in a Highly Charged Situation previously shot in Face days prior to the event a fellow Marine was Killed by Exploding Body Booby Trapped and at Best this Marine possibly should not have been put back into Duty so Quickly and possibly overreacted as does a Combat situation dictates sometimes
The Hopes of JerSooz Ezine is that Our Military is not viewed in a Light that all Prisoners will be shot because this Breeds contempt by the People we are supposedly trying to Protect and give Freedom too...It also instills that Innocent People can be Killed simply by not understanding the Language or Demands and merely Moving our Military will Kill You
This Hopefully is not a Statement that should be spoken...instead the Original Laws of Engagement and the Geneva Convention Rules should always be implimented whether a TV Camera Crew is there or totally unmonitored...Our US Military to Our Knowledge as never prescribed to this and hopefully in future will not...because if does then We as American Citizens could be viewed as War Criminals or better yet as Terrorists...a View JerSooz Ezine and Others hopes will never happen as American Citizens being viewed as either...We want Freedom of Others but not as a Cost to Our Morals and Values
