Before we begin this weeks JerSooz Ezine a special note to all Veterans...We want to thank you for a job well done
This Year the USA is yet into another Battle to be fought...this one being a Battle against Terrorism...this time being fought and now into its fifth day in Fallujah Iraq
Now more then ever the message is being driven home a Gallant Battle must be fought...now more then ever with Live TV coverage and minute by minute details...more families are missing their loved ones and more veterans are being made
This is a difficult time for everyone and our prayers are with all involved. We truly hope and pray for the day we have world peace and an end to all fighting!
A Special Thanks to All Our Veterans
We at JerSooz Ezine would like to remind Our readers and hopefully LifeTime Friends that Veterans Day is more than a Special Day to Honor Our Vets both Male and Female members but to All Veterans of all Wars here in the USA and throughout the World
Veterans Day is a reminder that in Battles as well as Wars...Lives have been lost to not only the Soldiers but also Innocent Civilians...the Loss of Loved ones touches us all deeply and should never be forgotten Freedom or Political Beliefs are what Battles and Wars are fought over
Never should We Fight without remembering Life is not merely...Statistics or in Military terms simply Colateral Damage
Whereby Life is merely reduced to...Life Loss is Data we can collect to warrant...the Ratio Per Loss will be of a minimum or even minimal loss factor...due to an equation that warrants it fits into the justifying the given Military action
Loss of Life whether it be Our Soldiers or the Soldiers we're fighting...are not only about these Combatants...but also the loss of Innocent Civilans caught in the Cross Fire
These losses will be felt not only by their Loved ones but also others too...plus the additonal destruction of Land and Buildings in the Country fought...will be felt by the People who live there and also should not be taken lightly...it acts as a constant reminder of lost memories of a place once lived...usually also Dreams of future hopes...that can be taken away in seconds...minutes or shortly even hours or days...merely reduced to rubble
We as Americans are constantly reminded of 9/11 the World Trade Centers and their Destruction...but We forget most times the Leveling of Countries Towns Villages and Large Cities and the loss of lives of Millions of Innocent Civilians and then the further rebuilding...plus the monumental costs of reconstruction...that Battles and Wars cost us all
We also feel that this Veterans Day...Veterans be remembered for Fighting or Defending Our Country...because without their sacrifice the USA would not be the Power that We are
These Veterans as well as the Veterans being made Today and in the Future...lets not put them in harms way because it fits a Political Agenda or a Belief that makes Us feel Superior...but only when it dictates that the action taken is Justified... for Just and Moral Justification...not merely because we can with a show of Force
To Our Veterans their Families and Friends JerSooz Ezine wants You to remember you are all appreciated for your time spent here and in foreign lands serving your country.
The giving of yourself in the armed forces is never taken lightly here at JerSooz and we give praise to you, and all of the servicemen who continue their job in the armed forces...for a job well done

Planning For The Holidays
It's that time of year again where our thoughts and daydreams lead us to planning the Holidays. Whether you are just looking forward to getting a little time off work or planning a big event Thanksgiving Day is the official beginning of The Holiday Season!
For most Americans the origins and true meaning of Thanksgiving no longer include Thanksgiving history...You know, the history...about how the Puritans nearly vanished from the planet after their numbers dwindled due to disease and improper diet...and the two famous Wampanoag Indians Samoset and Squanto, helped them survive in the new America by teaching them how to farm and feed themselves in North America?
Yes, now, for most people here in America Thanksgiving means getting together and eating!
We are talking a complete Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings and more!
We are talking every kind of vegetable dish, breads, and an over abundance of dessert.
We are talking about temporarily letting go of all our calorie restrictions, dietary resolves, healthy eating and indulging in all our favorite foods!
This is the time of year when we spend extra time searching for those special recipes that will get praise and approval on Thanksgiving Day.

Holiday Travel
Many of our plans include getting in our cars and on the road to take the long drive to visit far away relatives. Thanksgiving is the most travelled Holiday in the United States. For this reason we are adding a special section for you highway travellers.
We advise giving yourself enough time to get packed and ready, tune up that car paying special attention to your winter emergency driving gear- flares, flashlights, gloves, chains, snow tires and topping off the anti-freeze levels for starters.
Cold weather emergency plans should include cellular phone, making sure your roadside assistance is up to date, and warm clothing in case you are stuck on the side of the road for the night.
Thanksgiving Day Travel
Don't forget to check the travel weather reports, get enough rest, plan for rest stops, get out and stretch your legs, walk the dogs and share the driving with the other half.
Another thing we found really helpful to remember is to pack a thermous or two of your favorite hot beverage, and a small cooler with ice for your favorite chilled beverages. Not only will you save money, and avoid extra stops you won't suffer driving dehydration this way!
