Launching The Holiday Season
Fall begins when Daylight Savings Time changes to Standard Time at 2 a.m. in the United States on the last Sunday of October. With the beginning of Fall under our belts it is time to start our planning for Halloween and a Holiday Season to remember. Halloween, for most of us marks the official beginning of the Holiday Season.
The Holidays are a favorite time of the year because they bring about celebration. Celebrations mean family friends, office parties, neighborhood gatherings, fund raising events, and put it all together and it spells F U N!
Halloween is an ideal excuse for us adults to get crazy, have some fun with entertaining, decorating, costumes, sharing our traditions with the next generations...and making new traditions.
It is a good opportunity to mingle, meet or get to know new people. Why not get out a little more this year and have or go to a party?
This is an ideal time to meet your neighbors or get to know the folks at the church, gym or office a little better.
Of course we have to remember someone has to stay at home by the fireplace and wait for that knock on the door for a crowd of little ghosts, goblins, witches and mystery creatures.
Our theory on how to approach the Holiday Season this year is plan your good times way ahead (like get started right now!)and you will be sure to have the best...of Holiday Seasons!

Have a heart by allowing the high risk elderly and children who a flu could be deadly for, to get theirs first.

- adults aged 65 years and older;
- persons aged 2–64 years with underlying chronic medical conditions;
- all women who will be pregnant during the influenza season;

- health-care workers involved in direct patient care;
- out-of-home caregivers and household contacts of children under 6 months
