This week we in the U.S.A have all been reminded how powerful and destructive the forces of nature can be!
NOAA has issued safety warnings in Florida, California, and in Washington State.
Florida, having been battered the hardest by constant hurricane pounding suffers from severe flooding, downed power lines demolished homes, land, roads and other structures.
Hurricane Jeanne is already reported to have caused over $12 Billion of insured damage.
(The uninsured damage is difficult to comprehend)
This magnitude of devastation and loss of life is truly a tragedy!
We plead if you can help out in any way at all to do so A.S.A.P. Every little bit will make a difference.

One of our favorite people, Joe 'The Wizard' Clayton of Free Software Forever has been hit extremely hard by the Hurricanes on the SouthEast Coast.
His home was Damaged...His Business had a tree put through the middle of it both done in the first 2, so he and his family moved to a hotel...being without power...this was a necessity
Soon after that the hotel in which they were staying was hit by the 3rd Hurricane...wow talking 1...2...3 Strikes Your Out!...Not Joe!...he and his Family are Hanging Tough

California Rocked By Another Earthquake

The earthquakes in California give new meaning to the phrase Living On The Edge
Talk about getting nervous! Once again California is rockin' and rollin' with more seismic activity!
On September 28th an earthquake of 6.0 bursted the same general area of the San Andreas Fault as it did in 1966.
On September the 29th near Parkfield, California felt an aftershock at 10:10 AM Pacific Standard Time. This earthquake was more on the northern end of the fault but measured around 6.0.
South East of Parkfield and a little east of Bakersfield California another earthquake rumbled the ground at 3:54 PM . Bakersfield, by the way is not on the San Andreas fault.
On Thursday, September 30th yet another magnitude 5.0 earthquake shook the Parkfield area at 11:54 AM.
Enough already!
The damage has been at a minimum,...so far.
There have been rock slides, minor property damage and luckily, so far no deaths.
However, with over 600 aftershocks near the area surrounding the fault line an entire state is on edge with worries of a big devastating jolt.
Seismologists have set up extensive research posts and more are being built to get a better understanding of these earthquakes.
Hopefully this work will result in more accurate warning systems in place for the residents of California.

Scientists and researchers are reporting the earthquakes under Mount Saint Helens are becoming closer together and occurring more often. This leads them to believe that there is a 70% chance of another eruption within the next few days.
Researchers are not expecting as violent eruption as the 1980 blast because there is far less pressure built up underneath it now.
The last explosion of Mt. Saint Helens cleared most life far around it so it is not expected this erruption will take any homes with it. However we pray the scientists and researchers, tourists and travellers stay clear of danger when it happens.
On May 18th, 1980 1300 feet blew off the top of this mountain
causing major devastation including mudslides and fires.

The Big Hoopla the past few Months...has been the rolling out of the New XP Service Pack 2
Well Microsofts Windows XP Service Pack 2 is finally here...rolling out with what they call Push Technology...whereby if have been using Our Windows Update Info...Microsoft Windows Updates...using the Express Install...you have been already notified of its availability
We at JerSooz Ezine have found...that though its scary to think updating Your Computer to this Service Pack 2...may seem like an undaunting task...being if use a Slow Dial up connection it is 92 Megs and will take most of the night...plus after installed another security update for...( Microsoft Net Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 )...this used for Microsoft access and say Passwords for Hotmail or all Microsoft Sites of 10.2 Megs will also be needed...Gee an update for an update already for New XP Service Pack 2...it is very beneficial

Remember, when you go down the list of possible things to clean or delete after the scan use much caution in reading about the unwanted item(s). Make sure it is truly something that needs to be removed and not a working part of your system.
As you look at the list you might see items that look out of place, wrong letters, numbers and the like. They probably are, but not to repeat too much Be Careful!

Citibank even sent a letter to our snail mail address stating the Scare.
Plus read a great past article from a Writer who writes in what Sacramento calls CCN News .This issue read was in April 2004 edition
What both of these Companies are saying is Please be careful to watch for Emails saying
Urgent Your Request is immediately needed
Both Companies state that the Emails sent will when opened look so closely like their Own Real sites that unless pay very close attention you can be duped into giving Hackers and Identity Thieves Information that can wreak havoc on Your Finances
They also warn do not ever give out Your Password they will never ask for this information and is not their practice to contact you regarding issues in Emails.
They both say always when opening a Site that says them...You check both it and their real one to see if match...if not stop there and report it immediately.
The Next step if have inadvertantly opened it because thought replying to it being urgent...look to usually lower section of your computer called Task Bar and see if see what looks like a Closed Lock or if Address has. HTTPSthis if not aware means this is a Secured site and registered to them
If You do not see HTTPS Then immediately go to real site if have an account and change Your Password to them
This way if do it right then...can usually stop any Transactions the Sender of these Fake sites
Also Do Not ever give a Credit Card Number Social Security Password or Even Secret Question to any site You do not Know if Correct
