Hey Bud is that Cool or what Misspelled
Taking Time out is very important
Remember the new school year starts or already has started
Make sure your child/children are registered for school and you know what the start date is.
Linds, being back east with her Grandma will be 2 weeks late since school begins at a different date than the school she attended last year. Yeah! Found out the hard way after going through the long lines of registration and at the final table learning school started 2 weeks earlier. So Linds, if you are reading this, have a fun bonus 2 weeks of vacation.
Rejuvenating Your Batteries is important

This week JerSooz Ezine is on Vacation mode.
We took a drive up to the Great Pacific Northwest to visit family and enjoy the 'heat wave' they are having here.
The weather is unseasonably warm being 15 degrees warmer than normal and it seemed everyone had a sunny disposition...even in the 2 and 1/2 hour ferry boat waiting line. Now we understand why everyone can seem so impatient in these parts! They realize how valuable time really is!
Though on the other hand, it also shows them take life as it comes. So, gives them a more mellow, laid-back attitude.
There was lots to see in Seattle Washington. We all (including us, and Sooz parents) wanted to visit the popular Pike Street Market in the heart of downtown Seattle.

To get there from the Olympic Penninsula it was a short drive and a ferry boat ride. Then within minutes we wee walking 1st Avenue to the market. Here we could see the venders throwing huge salmon, produce for sale and a brass pig sculpture at the entrance
Sooz and Mom were reminded of past memories when this area was run down and very seedy with unsavory characters milling about years ago.
Since then the entire downtown area of Seattle has been refurbished, renovated and basically given a face lift, and is quite an awesome sight in all it's glory today.
The metropolitan area and surrounding areas of Seattle were massively affected by Microsoft and Bill Gates plus all of the other computer vendors moving in to the area...especially Redmond and the 'East Side' of Lake Washington. Downtown has undergone a grand transformation!
Whereby Seattle, ahem- except for the rather lengthy rainy season of 9 months out of the year...is a great place to visit and be a tourist.

This is just some of Seattle and there is a lot to do! After visiting a lot of the old haunts and fun places we headed back to the Olympic Penninsula before the Friday and summer traffic built up.
The drive both to Seattle and back insets in your mind the sheer beauty of the Puget Sound...a definite place to add to your places of interest to visit.
Since we are on vacation as we have previously mentioned are going to cut this issue short and promise we will be adding slideshows and more pics of our trip next week.
Our adventures must continue so we will have more to share. We also strongly advise take the time to give yourself a break...it can do you good and your family and friends will appreciate it as well.
Travel Necessities/Check List
Fast Tips For On the Road Laptop Users
The most important thing about Internet business or personal laptop use is it should always be ready to go where you go. The following are just some of the errors we found on this trip so far.
On the way here we took a wrong turn and got lost in Portland Oregon. There we were going around in circles when finally we stopped and pulled out the laptop and Co-Pilot. This is an awesome program for laptops because it is a GPS (global positioning system) whereby it puts up a map with verbal step-by-step, turn by turn directions. If it is loaded and tested before you leave home being lost can be easily avoided. Look to future JerSooz Ezines for best buys on this system.
We didn't double check it before leaving and ! guess what, when we needed it the most it didn't work. Luckily a fellow was walking past and he directed us to the freeway entrance.
Make sure navigation software is up to date
Next, when you get to your destination area you want to be able to hook directly in to your Internet provider. We spent an easy 3 hours in our attempts to sign in to our Internet because the process had changed and we had not copied all the new info on to the laptop.
Make sure your ISP is completely loaded and set up for the area your going to before leaving home. Psst~ make sure not to dial the out of town number from home because you will get hit with a long distance bill for it.
We took a lot of pic's with the new camera...lots! Only thing was the smart card did not work in this laptop! Oh no! We assumed it was going to work, because it said it would but did not try it out before leaving.
Check smart card reader before leaving home and if it is not working get what you need so you can share your pic's while away from home.
Bring your sunny disposition
What we are saying here is leave your quibbles at home! Enjoy your vacation. No one likes to hear bickering. It is OK for the host and hostess to act any way they like but never should the guests be at each others throats! Even thought you might need a rest always offer to lend a helping hand. Remember, you want them to look forward to your visit next time!Be great houseguests.

My Computer Seems to be Slowing Down Lately
Heres the Big Question been hearing lately has Your Computer been slowing down...This say in past 2 weeks and wondering whats Happened?...there is a simple explanation
The reason Your Computer has slowed is if Using the following Instant Messengers MSN Yahoo AOL AIM and ICQ its easily explained as they now have more features and now require more Memory...Yeah now with all those Neat Emoticons Video and Audio enhancements they sure will use more Memory
Simple work arounds
- Lower Right Corner...Right Mouse click on Things not using then shut them down
- Go to like ZDnet or Download with Links we provide
Go into Software...Internet...Utilities and get what call Ram or Memory Boosters they will tweak Your settings so run faster
- Check for Internet Connection Booster Software
Again ZDnet.com...Download.com...or even the FreeSite
- Buy More Memory and install Yourself
Oh No its really simple and can do it Yourself even
All You have to do on a PC is learn how to Open Side of Your Computer
(of Course when Shut Off Power Cord Pulled)
Then simply look for 1 or 2 or more long thin strips...that usually have flip switches to hold in
Flip them down and the Chip will Pop up and can remove
(Caution though either ground Yourself or Touch metal so discharge any static may have from walking say across carpet)
Then simply find a Computer store with Info will see on Memory chip and buy what chip or chips needed Older machines require buy in Pairs
Then come home and carefully put Old one back in with the New One...This is very easy to do and will save you about $50 for what takes about 5 minutes or less to remove and put back in once You have them
(The Chips when properly Seated will cause the Flip switches to go back into up Position and usally only one way to put them in)
Now Your Set to go...and now when start Your Computer and see it Happily running know You did it
Just Remember this Computer Chips are lots cheaper then buying a New Computer and the more Memory can afford the easier Your Life will be...Now if using a Older Computer it might be the time to think buying a New One...Our Walmart Link to Left is a Fantastic place to check into Great Computer Deals...Yes in USA and Canada WalMart and Sams Club have some of Greatest Package Deals will find

Great Guideline Windows XP Machines alone take 128MB to usually load XP...so Minimum should have installed Double that to 256MB for real boost to an XP Machine try to go for 528MB with Your chips combo

This week again got the Great PayPal and CitiBank Scam scare information to Us
Citibank even sent a letter sent to Our real snail mail stating the Scare
Plus read a great past article from a Writer who writes in what Sacramento calls CCN News this issue read was in April 2004 edition
What both of these Companies are saying is Please be careful to watch for Emails saying
Urgent Your Request is immediately needed
Both Companies state that the Emails sent will when opened look so closely like their Own Real sites that unless pay very close attention you can be duped into giving Hackers and Identity Thieves Information that can wreak havoc on Your Finances
They also warn do not ever give out Your Password they will never ask for this information and is not their practice to contact you regarding issues in Emails
They both say always when opening a Site that says them...You check both it and their real one to see if match...if not stop there and report it immediately
The Next step if have inadvertantly opened it because thought replying to it being urgent...look to usually lower section of your computer called Task Bar and see if see what looks like a Closed Lock or if Address has HTTPSthis if not aware means this is a Secured site and registered to them
If You do not see HTTPS Then immediately go to real site if have an account and change Your Password to them
This way if do it right then...can usually stop any Transactions the Sender of these Fake sites
Also Do Not ever give a Credit Card Number Social Security Password or Even Secret Question to any site You do not Know if Correct
