Actually, this is 'About Me', since there is only one of 'Us' here.
I started this website after meandering around the web for about two years, trying different things, looking for a business that would fit me.
Well, since I've never fit any mold before, I don't know why I thought it would be different here!
I just couldn't stay excited about anything I tried.
After I lost my job, I started spending every waking minute on the internet, figuring if I worked extra hard, I would start making money. Guess what? It didn't happen.
During all of that time, I went from excited to despondent to excited, in a constant cycle.
I would get too many things going at once, drop most of them, then start the whole process over.
I kept reading books and articles on how to make it on the internet.
One of the things they all say is to find something you know well, something you're really good at.
Well, this is it.
I'm really good at ups and downs! I have suffered from anxiety and depression over the years.
I spent seven years in therapy, back in the 80s,I've been in and out of therapy since then.
What's more, I have tremendous compassion for everyone who suffers from any kind of emotional or physical difficulty. However, I am not a doctor or therapist.
I could not deal with other people's pain day in and day out! I don't know how they can do it and not let it affect their own lives.
I'm just a fellow sufferer, who is hoping to make a small difference in other people's lives.
