Ossie Davis passed away on Friday February 4th in Miami in his hotel room in Miami Beach, Florida. He was at work as an actor, of course making a film called "Retirement". He was 86 years-old.
We were lucky enough to catch the 1 hour long eulogy for Ossie on our High Definition SatelliteDishNetwork.com The Channel viewing 9415 on the FSTV FreeSpeech.org the most moving speech was done by Harry Belafonte Ossies Lifetime Friend and also a Person who could describe the feeling they felt when marching for Desegregation with Martin Luther King in the 60's

Friends and Family Paid Tribute
On this day The Riverside Church in Harlem was filled with incredible music tributes to Ossie Davis along with the moving speakers including Ossie's Grandson, Bill Clinton, Spike Lee, Cornel West, Rachel Robinson and the President of the NAACP, Kweisi Mfume. There was no doubt in this room that Ossie will be missed. He was one of the Great greats among Actors, Writers, Directors Filmographers and Producers.
One of the key speakers put it as we would like to remember, she said
"We would like to Remember Ossie Davis not in his death, But for the Way he Lived"
JerSooz Ezine feels that like Ossies Grand Son so eloquently stated about his Grand Father ...when People asked when My Grand Father Passed away what they could do for Me...I said I didn't need anything...Though now I will ask for one thing...That is that You may remember My Grand Father so that he lives on Longer then any of Us

We didn't have 300 choices on satellite TV and people still went to the movies to see a movie.
Twenty Years ago...1985 the cost of a stamp was a whopping twenty-two cents, the Top song was "What's Love Got To Do With It", the U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was $4,180.70 billion, the Federal spending was $946.39 billion, our Federal debt was $1817.5 billion, the Average Household Income was $23,618 a year and Unemployment at around 7.2%.
