Tradgedy strikes as Commuter Train Derails 11 Die
Before we start on our topic a few words about another, yes, another disaster in our State of California. This week the Los Angeles area has had worst U.S. rail tragedy since March 15, 1999. A vehicle stopped on the train tracks, the driver jumped out and fled while not 1 not 2 but 3 trains crashed on the tracks. Our hearts and prayers go out to all the friends and families of these poor people.
If you have a little extra You can help the victims of this and thousands of disasters across the country each year by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need. We decided not to put a photo of this horrendous event in this weeks ezine because of it's effect on us and the tone of our message this week. Let's put it this way, it's just too awful!
Even If You Do Believe In Yourself,
you can always believe in yourself more!
How can you believe in yourself more? Start by focusing on your successes. Before doing anything else list at least five of the successes in your life. Keep iin mind that we, as human beings need to keep reminding ourselves of our accomplishments instead of nagging ourselves with our so-called “failures” in life. This simple act is the basis of getting meaning and peace in business and in life.
Basically it is up to us individually to encourage and support ourselves. Even the perfect business situation or job won't supply us with the happiness,meaning and fulfillment we are looking to find. If your self confidence is being tested by normal changes in life like unemployment, a new promotion, a job interview, being a good parent, or life in general affirm your successes and renew your faith in yourself. There is no sense in waiting for other people to bolster our confidence and nourish our being because that is something we really have to do for ourselves!
Expose Yourself To Yourself and Affirm Yourself
We can all give ourselves this priceless gift of affirming our life by taking a look into our past to see how far we have come. We vow to no longer punish ourselves for our mistakes and realize it is the mistakes we made that taught us the lessons that we have learned in life. Our mistakes no longer have to be something that we punish ourselves for. Now, we can make an effort to have compassion for ourselves and give thanks for the lessons we have learned.
This might sound trivial but by performing these small steps of remembering and affirming our lives, we can begin to believe in ourself more. It is in believing in ourself where we can build a strong, solid foundation that can help to weather the storms of life. By building a stronger sense of self and who we really are we can find new freedoms.
Freedom at Any Age
Excuses! Excuses! Excuses! Most people have more excuses than Carter's got pills! Free yourself by stopping making all those excuses. Just think for a few minutes how many excuses you have for not going for those dreams and being happy. Bet you have an excuse for every single goal or dream you threw away. And bet you also complain from time to time and say "could have, should have, ought to have, and oonly-if". If what! Please, stop it already! You have to start by being honest with yourself about how you want to imporve and what you need to do to get it done right.
It doesn't matter if you are 12, 22 42 52 or 72 years old, you can lighten the load of your life when you stop making all those excuses. Making excuses only delays your doing what you want to do in this life. We at JerSooz Ezine have talked a lot about dreams, but dreams mean nothing if you are busy making excuses about why you can't do what you have to do to believe in yourself.
Your Best Friend Is You
Do you really love yourself unconditionally? Now be truthful about this because this is where it all has to start. Stop being so harsh and judgemental about yourself. Give yourself a break. You can only work with what you have to offer and only you know what this is. So, stop lying to yourself and get busy!
Common Lies/Excuses You Tell Yourself/What You Can Do:- I am too fat
If it is your weight or that bothers you get busy on becoming more active.
Just a little exercize every day is better than none at all. Cut down on portions as opposed to stop eating all together. Eat a small dessert instead of no dessert. Promise to one other person you will follow your weight program.
- I Am Too Shy/ Afraid of Crowds
Start putting yourself in situations with other people where you feel uncomfortable. Pretty soon your fear will vanish.
Try this, practice looking in the mirror and saying what you think. Mean it! Some therapists say to repeat affirmations like "I am a strong smart and bold person", "I value my opinion" over and over in the mirror 10 minutes a day.

- My Partner,Parents,Husband or Wife Doesn't Approve
- I Am Not Smart Enough
JerSooz hopes you understand that even though these exercizes seem simple and simplistic in nature, if you do them without thinking negative thoughts they can help you drop those negative thoughts. Make your own chants or self-talk and try it for yourself!
