Before we begin this weeks topic a note on recent JerSooz Ezines requests for help & donations. We're leaving both the Tsunami and La Conchita CA donation links in Ezine. Just to refresh your memory La Conchita is the small town on California's Central Coast, whose residents suffered a catastrophic mudslide after weeks of rain. The hillside known for its instability engulfed a portion of their community.
We believe every little bit helps especially in this situation where people lost lives and property due to a natural disaster. The additional fact that home owners in this community were not allowed slide insurance makes it an even worse tragedy. If you can help please use JerSooz links!
Ways you can help.- A fund has been set up at Santa Barbara Bank & Trust to help families of victims of the La Conchita slide. Donations to the Womack and Wallet Memorial Fund may be made at any
Santa Barbara Bank & Trust branch.

Inauguration 2005
Our pic' and topic today is a reminder President George Bush will be President of the United States for another term. What a bustling and lavish affair this day in Washington D.C. was! From the processions & decoration to the luncheon paraphenalia the outdoor 'halls' were decked out with the finest of everything! Watching the pre-Inauguration show, the actual Inauguration, the Inauguration luncheon speaches and the slow procession back to the White House it was clear this was quite an event in History.
During the Inauguration here were a few outbursts along the sidelines by those who were upset by the cost of this event during a time of war and when there are those in desparate need struggling for life. Already reports of U.S. and Foreign concern group comments are flooding the News about why, with the war going on in Iraq, and death tolls from the Tsunami in SouthEast Asia topping 225,000 is so much money spent on this event.
Truthfully a lot of money is always spent on the Presidential Inauguration regardless of whether in a time of war or not. For the purpose of staying neutral we are not going to state our opinion here. But it is a good question, How Much Money Was Spent On The Presidential Inauguration 2005? And how much was the Secret Service tab for this event? How much money total did this event cost? If you know email us Here!
Why Is This Event Outdoors &
Why So Important we Spend So Much $$ On It?
Supposedly holding this grande historical event outdoors began a long time ago. See, supposedly all started at the time of the inauguration of James Monroe when members of Congress and Senate were arguing over who got to sit where in which seats in the hall. They decided, finally to do it outside where there was enough room for everyone.
In terms of why the U.S.A. goes to such great expense for the Presidential Inauguration here's a reason. In History the Presidential Inauguration marks the beginning of each Presidential Era so, from a historic viewpoint it is a necessary tradition to ear-mark the date with festivities and grandeur.
Also, like Royalty for the British the American Citizens love to view and photograph the President of The United States in splendor while listening to his speach. Americans are and have always been obsessed with seeing the Family of the President, which is one of the reasons we saw his two daughters right by his wife who a lot of the day was right by President Bush's side. You can bet for weeks to come Ms. Bush and the 2 Bush daughters outfits, and hairstyles from this day will be see on the tabloids and in the news. Americans love celebrities!
